Community: Civic and Public Engagement

We are all born scientists; we may fail to nourish our curiosity for the natural world with time, but that yearning is rooted deep. We are also all born communicators, embarked on a life-long quest to connect with each other and the world. I love contemplating the unrivaled beauty of nature: true joy, however, comes from doing it with others, sharing pieces of this marvelous puzzle we are all part of, and finding, together, the answers to who we are and how we got here. This is why I am passionate about civic and community engagement.
